Luis Rojas is co-founder of CRACK, Director and motion graphics artist with more than 10 years of experience in the film industry, where he has developed his talent in cities such as Buenos Aires, London, Paris, New York, Berlin, Zurich and Bogotá.
His style plays between fiction and documentary, thus generating a strong cinematographic language with powerful images that portray everyday stories with common characters and places with little visibility.
His work in video clips is characterized by playing with the surreal, mixing a documentary narrative, overlapping realities and creating surreal worlds. He has worked with bands like Linking Park, Cash Cash, Cholo Valderrama, N Harlem, Dorado, Juan Pablo Vega and with clients like Absolut, Kenzo Paris, Vogue, LG, Olmeca, Chivas, Lacoste, Puma, Netflix, Univision and others.
Luis was Co-director of the Meet Art series, awarded as the best project in BAM Projects 2016 by Colombian signal, ANTV and Bogotá audiovisual market, his short film Expatriate selected as top 5 at the Zurich film festival in 2018; he participated in the post-stage production of the feature film LAPU directed by Cesar Jaimes and Juan Polanco, premiered at Sundance and Berlinale, he also worked on the short documentary “Nos Están Matando” where CRACK was co-producer, directed by Emily Wright, at this time it is in the development stage where he made the direction and cinematography of “Utril”, short fiction – documentary in the final stage made in NY, “Caos” short fiction made in Norway and “Venus”, short fiction – a documentary made in Thailand and “Roland Walter”, a long documentary in production stage co-directed with Juan Camilo Cruz.
