About Arturo

Arturo Roa is director, producer and screenwriter, co-founder of CRACK. With very clear handling of cinematographic language and narrative structures, Arturo has developed a great ability to handle formats such as documentaries, animation and Musical videos with his own style.

His debut feature, the documentary feature “Soñadores en el Hospicio” (2010), was premiered at the San Luis International Film Festival, Argentina, also has been screening in the Art And Madness Festival in Amsterdam and the International Film Festival from Cartagena.

He has worked with artists such as Aterciopelados, Fonseca, Juanes, Linkin Park, making music videos with various visual proposals, obtaining excellent aesthetic and narrative results. He has developed advertising projects for large chains and large brands such as Netflix, Univision, Absolut, Juan Valdez among others.

Creator and director of the series “MeetArt” awarded as the best project in BAM Project 2016 by Signal Colombia, ANTV and Bogotá Audiovisual Market. In 2017 he directed the music video “17” awarded as the Best National Video at the Bogotá Music Video Festival. He is currently developing his second feature film “When the Hail Falls”, a spectacular 3D animation in the tone of a fantastic drama that will be one of the premieres of CRACK in the coming years.
